Participation and Active Citizenship

The promotion of democracy is a heavily discussed topic in European discourses when it comes to engaging young people in active citizenship. This includes in particular facilitating young people’s experiences of participation and incorporating their perspectives. The Centre´s research focuses on this topic by  examining, among other things, which strategies and programs the European institutions use to involve young people, especially marginalized young people.
