Aims
The study is intended to provide information:
- On the plans made by secondary modern school pupils for their subsequent educational and vocational training courses.
- On the motives and orientations of secondary modern school pupils when taking decisions regarding educational and vocational training courses.
- On the educational and training routes taken by modern school pupils after completing compulsory schooling.
- On the way in which secondary modern school pupils evaluate the educational and vocational training courses they complete.
- On the individual and family resources of secondary modern school pupils in overcoming hurdles and obstacles on the way from school to vocational training.
- On the effects of selected supportive measures (work experience, vocational preparation schemes, extra lessons) on the success of integration into the working world.
